Student-built. Mentor-backed when needed.

CDS Cyclones

We are Team 4951, a fully student-led FRC team affiliated with The Country Day School. Since 2014, we have been building robots, building connections, and proving that a good pit crew runs on skill, dedication, and at least a couple of stolen safety glasses.

About Us

We build the robot, run the team, and ask for mentor help when it actually matters.

Team 4951 is a welcoming, student-led robotics team from King City, Ontario. Affiliated with The Country Day School, we have been competing since 2014 and take pride in doing the real work ourselves, from design reviews to driver practice to the inevitable last-minute fix that suddenly becomes "part of the plan."

Our mentors support us when needed, but the direction, energy, and personality of the team come from students. That means every season is equal parts technical challenge, collaboration, and controlled chaos, which is a pretty accurate description of FRC in general.
